Rigid PVC

Rigid, flat PVC sheet is easily fabricated and formed using conventional tools and methods. The gloss surface of rigid PVC sheet readily accepts screen and digital print inks as well as vinyl lamination. Compliant with the most demanding international fire resistance standards, rigid PVC sheet is self-extinguishing.

  1. General Purpose PVC
  2. Palclear® / Palclear® HI

General purpose PVC is a UV stabilised, flat solid PVC sheet that is ideal for printing and where subsequent thermoforming may be required. An inherent chemical resistance makes the product suitable for use in chemical or corrosive environments.

Palclear®, whilst available in a bluish tint, is also available in waterclear, delivering a higher light transmission where required. Palclear® rigid PVC can be used for glazing applications with a UV protected version available for external use. Palclear® is also suitable for use in harsh chemical or corrosive environments. It is also an ideal substrate for printing and where subsequent thermoforming may be required.

Palclear® Hi is a modified, clear rigid PVC. The impact modifier added to the Palclear® formulation ensures the sheet is less notch sensitive and therefore, its impact strength also remains after fabrication.
