Open for business & supporting critical demands

We would like to reassure our customers that we remain open and continue to do all we can to fulfil the critical substrate demand for the many vital applications our customers are manufacturing in the fight against Covid-19.

During this unprecedented time, we have seen customers responding to the urgent requirements for protective screens, partitioning for medical bays, NHS protective visors and so much more.  We are proud to be playing a part as the industry comes together to use their expertise for his important cause and will continue to do all we can to maintain our service.

Our cutting and delivery services are operating at every branch.

Whilst we are aiming to maintain our regular order processing timescales, please be aware that we may need to respond to sudden staffing changes.  In these cases we will advise you of any unexpected change to your usual service as early as possible

Our Suppliers

We remain in daily contact with our suppliers and are working with them to all maximise availability of high demand products during these unprecedented times.

  • Our Perspex® acrylic factory in Lancashire has quickly implemented changes to increase production of clear Perspex® for sneeze screens by 300%
  • We work with suppliers of Polycarbonate, PVC and PetG based in the UK and all remain focused on increasing supply to meet current demand
  • We have been able to utilise supply chains elsewhere in Europe to further increase availability of many clear products

Our staff

The health and well-being of our staff remains a priority and PDL will continue to apply the latest government workplace health guidelines.  Remote working and additional shift patterns have been introduced to further reduce staff numbers in each branch at any one time.

Procedures are in place to ensure all employees adhere to the social distancing recommendations and additional hygiene precautions in the workplace.

If we can help at all, either with your immediate requirements or your business preparations for the coming months, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
