Polycarbonate Sheets

We are a polycarbonate sheet supplier, providing polycarbonate sheet cut to size. We offer a range of polycarbonate sheet materials to suit a variety of applications, materials and transparencies.

Polycarbonate sheet is the material of choice for applications which require transparency and strength. Polycarbonate sheet has the transparency of glass at less than half the weight, combining superior impact resistance with clarity if required. The impact strength of polycarbonate sheet out shines standard acrylic and glass, making it perfect for demanding applications, for example, roofing.

Not only is polycarbonate ideal for its strength, it can also be fabricated and formed, making it ideal for applications such as street furniture, roof lights and glazing. Clear, translucent or opaque polycarbonate sheets are also ideal for safety glazing applications.

Benefits of Polycarbonate sheet

Polycarbonate is an ideal material for use in many applications, because…

It’s impact resistant

Polycarbonate is almost unbreakable, with over 200x the strength of glass when manufactured at the same thickness.

It’s lightweight

The strength of this material allows it to be manufactured in a lesser thickness than its competitor materials (e.g glass), making it a lightweight alternative.

It’s weather resistant

Polycarbonate sheets have an excellent resistance to UV rays, meaning the material will not discolour or degrade over time.

It’s fire resistant

Our Polycarbonate sheets have a class 1 fire rating, meaning it is highly resistant to fire and flames do not spread quickly. This makes this material suitable for use in projects with a specific fire requirements.

It’s recyclable

Polycarbonate sheet is fully recyclable and contains recycled content. The material is shredded and granulated before being ready to be manufactured into its next life. Using polycarbonate sheet can support the construction industry to develop a building or structure which is considered environmentally friendly.
