Why choose Solid PVC?

High impact strength

Solid PVC has a high impact strength making it suitable for a wide range of applications where a heavy load may be present.

Chemical resistance

The Palram range of solid PVC has been tested for its resistance to a long list of chemicals, download our chemical resistance sheet for more information.

Fire resistance

Solid PVC has the highest fire rating, it is virtually self-extinguishing.

Easy to fabricate

Solid PVC is easy to fabricate, it is pliable and easy to form into complex shapes. Gluing the material is possible with the correct preparation and adhesive bond.

Solid PVC Applications

Solid PVC is suitable for both interior and exterior use. Due to its anti-vandalism properties (it cannot be easily cracked) it’s used widely for high footfall areas such as instore promotions, signage as well as safety glazing.

Additionally, solid PVC is a popular choice for the manufacture of products used in the chemical industry due to its chemical resistant properties.

Due to the hard wearing features of Solid PVC and compliance with international fire resistance standards, solid PVC is commonly used for wall cladding.

Where can you use solid PVC?

  • In food preparation areas
  • In hygienic environments for example hospitals
  • In wet rooms
  • Where chemicals are present.
