With a reputation for creating dramatic props for the film industry, approved Perspex® fabricators Inplas fabrications Ltd have been commissioned to work on the new Hollywood blockbuster ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. The new trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie was released recently by Marvel.
Inplas were commissioned to thermoform the cockpit canopy of Star-Lord's space ship in 10mm thick clear Perspex®. The huge 25ft x 9ft canopy had to be formed into sections which were then expertly fixed into position.
The design team at Inplas worked closely with the film art directors and props team from initial concept through to installation and the project was finished on time and on budget – testament to their craftsmanship and expertise using Perspex® acrylic.
