Perspex fabricators Inplas helped add a splash of colour to the recent launch of Samsung’s latest mobile phone. Working closely with 2Build, Inplas designed and fabricated over 100 Perspex acrylic balloons for Samsung for the launch of their new Galaxy 4 mobile phone.
Each balloon was made one half at a time by blow moulding a sheet of 3mm coloured Perspex acrylic into a custom CNC-machine mould. The two halves were then carefully bonded together and polished.
The Perspex acrylic balloons were created in a range of fabulous colours to match the balloons used in the extensive marketing for the Galaxy S4. Installations featured at Samsung's flagship stores and at a promotional display at Selfridges in London.
