Unibox illuminating luxury hospitality spaces with Perspex® acrylic

Specialists in innovative LED lighting solutions, Unibox has developed its own Light Guide Panel (LGP) technology, with Perspex® acrylic forming the heart of the system. Chosen for its exceptional optical clarity, consistency and light transmission, Perspex® enables light to be distributed evenly across large illuminated surfaces, creating striking visual effects without compromising performance.

This combination of design freedom and technical performance has seen Unibox become a trusted supplier to some of the world's most recognised hospitality brands, including The Ivy Collection and Sexy Fish. To date, more than 20 restaurants have incorporated illuminated flooring manufactured using both Perspex® Clear to support the light source and Perspex® Opal when a diffuser is required, helping create the warm, luxurious atmosphere synonymous with both brands.

The latest installation at The Ivy Chester continues a long-standing partnership, demonstrating the reliability and consistency of the material across projects of every size.

One of Unibox's most ambitious installations was delivered in Dubai, where an incredible 450m² of illuminated flooring was installed throughout a prestigious venue. Delivering consistent light distribution across an installation of this scale required a material capable of maintaining exceptional optical performance throughout every panel, making Perspex® acrylic the ideal choice.

Beyond illuminated flooring, Unibox has also utilised its LGP technology with Perspex® acrylic to create illuminated bars, shelving, sinks, planter tops and decorative columns, allowing designers to carry lighting themes seamlessly throughout an interior.
